HotPixelRemover version 1.2 has been released. Compared to v1.0, this latest version of HotPixelRemover includes an enhanced EXIF handling module, EXIF data is now preserved in processed image files, and a number of minor bug fixes.

PhotoWaterMarker v1.1 Released
PhotoWaterMarker version 1.1 has been released. Compared to v1.0, this latest version of PhotoWaterMarker contains over 20 new watermark blending modes, including amongst others a new improved embossing mode, lattice blending, dissolve, screen blending, hard light, colour burn, colour dodge, hue blending, and many many more. In addition, the configuration section has been improved, with many more configuration settings available.

MonitorCam v2.0 Released
Lightning Cube Software announces a major release of MonitorCam. MonitorCam v2.0 provides new functionality such as saving video from the web camera to disk as AVI files in addition to image files, uploading images or videos to a remote FTP site whenever motion is detected, new functionality for generating time-lapse videos, starting MonitorCam in the system tray, and more. Apart from the new functionality, this new version of MonitorCam offers improved motion detection, better error reporting and an improved configuration section.

Lightning Cube Software announces that it is in the process of re-designing its web site
Lightning Cube Software announced that in the next few weeks it will be re-designing its web site. The new web site will provide visitors with more detailed information on Lightning Cube's diverse range of products, from stand-alone products to information about custom solutions for imaging and computer vision. The new web site will feature new items such as a resource centre where visitors can find articles, know-how and many useful tools. The current plan is to have the new web site in place and fully operational by the end of September 2008.
