While motion is being detected, MonitorCam can save the video frames to disc if Save images when motion is detected is checked. By default, the images are saved as JPEG images. The user can specify the folder where images are stored by changing the path in Save in folder.


Every video frame containing motion can be saved to disc if the option Continuously is selected. To conserve disc space, one can select to save video frames Every second instead.

To open the folder to view the images, one can go to the main menu and choose 'Explore captured Images'. This will open an explorer window listing the images:
